This song is made up of a single musical object (m011), written in a few hours one evening in March 1986 (hence the title: 3 86 = March 1986). It speaks of the birth of a feeling of love, with all that entails. Where everything changes, moments of perplexity and fear arise, immediately overwhelmed by the irresistible force of passion. The vocal part was recovered from the original tape of the time, every instrumental part was redone in 2024. The sound tries to envelop the listener and transport him gently into a distant landscape. Immersive echoes play an important role. Structurally it is a classic song form, the verse is divided into two successive phrases with the first one which follows the tonic progression of the beginning and the second which is made up of ascending chords. The chorus, on the other hand, modulates in a minor key and reintroduces the augmented fifths already present in other songs on the Album. Even the sound of the viola in the central and final part reminds other songs on the album, in order to constitute a characterizing and unifying element
